1DD: What is your tip or advice for non-designers, who wants to redesign the world?
BITTENCOURT: “To design something great, you should be a philosopher.”
"We live in a complex word, hard to understand and because of that, hard to design for. The lenses we inherited, the linear thinking and binary conclusions (right or wrong, good or bad) reinforces this difficulty. It is extremely important to transcend that way of thinking, to became a philosopher - taking a step back, not accepting easy conclusions, common wisdom, superficial data and, before conclude necessities and problems, to put ourselves in the shoes of the users we are designing for. That’s what creates good design, and in a world full of crap and empty value propositions, crate something new is first of all create something that deserves to exist."
