1DD: how to positively impact with design
DANDAVATE: “By improving the lives of others with the powers of curiosity, imagination, making, and empathy.”
"Every once in a while parents ask me to help their children understand if they have got what it takes to be a designer. Preparing to become a designer takes a lot more than getting into a design school.
I tell them, It is never too late to learn to use the powers of curiosity, imagination, making, and empathy. Regardless of whether you become a product designer, an architect, a city planner, a shoe maker, a home maker, a politician, a bureaucrat or an environmentalist, these four powers will give you the capacity to affect other people’s lives creatively. You will become a designer, no matter which college you study at."
