1DD: how to positively impact with design
FACCA: “Design's biggest challenge is to match the way it advertises itself to how it is perceived.”
"While it is extremely desirable, and often necessary, it is very hard to say how much Design cost or adds value in a particular artefact. There are ways to assess how much a product increased its value after a Design process, how much the company’s profit and revenue based on designed products has increased, the return on investment in design, the consumer satisfaction over a particular product or service. Anyway, these are some measurable ways related to design. But design is said as a universal solution to all the problems of society, but its biggest challenge is to match the way it advertises and how it will be perceived (and measured)."
