1DD: How to make an idea come true
FRIEDLAND: “You need a good mirror and people around you”
"You have an idea of a new product or service. Ideally, you will share it at a moment you think is right, with people you think are right. Some will like the idea, others will try convincing you to stop pursuing it. It could also be, that everyone will try convincing you to do exactly that. This is why you need a good mirror. If you honestly believe in your idea, you will find the mirror an excellent tool to encourage yourself to keep pursuing it. You should use it as often as you need, standing firmly infant of it and realising YOU CAN DO IT. You need those people who do not believe in your idea, as much as you need the people who do. The ones that don’t, will force you to prove them wrong. The ones that do, might be your partners to execute your idea as it is not wise to work alone."
