1DD: how to positively impact with design
SAOS: “There isn’t positive impact without empathy.”
"When you design something for a single entrepreneur mother, you contribute to her time with her child. By doing this, you are creating a form of positive impact. Each problem has many layers and dimensions that can be approached in distinct ways. You can create solutions alone or collectively, simple or complex, conventional or not; but in the end it needs to help the individual, community or organization. In the process of creating solutions there isn’t a right or wrong answer and failure is a natural part of the development. You don’t have to be a designer to help. Try to work on this in your daily life; trying to solve small problems that you identify in your community or company. Keep your eyes on the results because only then will you know if you have created a positive impact."
