1DD: How to make an idea come true
SHEA: “Get started and make it simple. ”
Many designers want to have a fully-formed plan for their idea before starting to realize it. I believe design often follows more of an innovative process rather than a creative process, one that allows us to refine or make sense of content rather than create it from scratch. Get started by throwing everything you know about the idea/dream (and some things that don't directly relate to it) on the wall to see what sticks. Then work hard to make your idea simple enough for people to understand, adopt, and promote it."
